7 Tips to Get Rid of Blackheads Easily

Blackheads – Besides black spots, blackheads (whitehead acne) or small white spots on the surface of the face are often a scourge that makes women uncomfortable. The reason is, this relatively small problem can make them not confident.

Blackheads come from the sebaceous glands that produce oil on the skin which then mixes with skin cells and dust. So, how do you get rid of blackheads that make your appearance look unattractive?

1. Exfoliate With Lemon And Tomato

Both of these fruits can be a way to get rid of blackheads. It’s easy, slice a lemon and rub it on the area where the blackheads are. You can also add sugar to exfoliate the skin properly.

If lemon doesn’t work, you can try tomatoes instead of chemicals. Tomatoes not only help remove blackheads, but also cleanse the skin from the inside. This exfoliation is necessary to remove blackheads faster.

However, be careful when using natural ingredients to get rid of blackheads, especially for those of you who have sensitive skin.

2. Steam Therapy

How to get rid of blackheads can also be done through steam therapy. This therapy can help to open the pores of the face. That way, all kinds of dirt that sticks and clogs the pores can be released. You can try this way with a simple method.

For example, by boiling water in a pot until it boils. Then, after that pour the water into a basin that is wide enough. Then, lower your head and bring it at least 5–10 centimeters above the surface of the basin. To prevent moisture from seeping out, cover your head with a light towel. For effective results, do this steam therapy for 5-10 minutes and repeat several times a week.

3. Use Non-Alcoholic Toner

Well, after the skin begins to exfoliate, the facial pores will naturally enlarge, so that dust can enter it more easily. Therefore, use a non-alcoholic toner to shrink the pores so that the risk of acne and blackheads appears to decrease.

4. Regularly Washing Your Face

Wash your face ideally twice a day with a gentle, non-detergent facial cleanser. Keep in mind, avoid using scrubs because they can irritate the skin. In the end it will make blackheads worse.

5. Compress with Warm Water

In addition to steam therapy, how to get rid of blackheads can also be done by compressing the face with warm water. It’s easy. You can use a towel soaked in warm water. Then, compress on the blackhead area. You can do it two to three times a day, so the sebaceous glands will produce less oil.
